In this link: https://imgur.com/a/wDKbczH, or in the source, is a variant for 4:3 as well as visual aids for XSplit to get everything to scale properly within the overlay for 900p.
In order for the game to scale properly, set the "legit Super Nintendo" to 4x scale/window size.
When you add the source to XSplit, right click the game source, click the layout tab, and look in position row. Set it this way for 8:7 aspect ratio:
X = 288, Y = 2
Width = 1024, Height = 896
For 4:3 aspect ratio:
X = 288, Y = 2
Width = 1168, Height = 896
