I think a freckled Vlinny makes sense since Vin said he comes from the sun, though that may have been a joke. But even without that: because his room in Tomodachi Life was igloo themed to keep him in his human form, he might’ve liked hot / warm environments from his planet when in whatever his actual form is. So when he was in Vineland, he liked to go outside while trying to hold on to his human from which results to…
