I have a headcannon that all of the world's tears are shoved into Sponge's hat. If he gets very sad and begins to cry, the tears from within the hat are transferred into his system and he cries out the world's tears. The tears are also the main source of his magic too, so he has to wait a long while before he can use his magic again after a good teary scare.
This was the scene where he told LumberJahn to "get well soon," and he did! I thought it as comedic as it was touching, so then this was created shortly after seeing the scene (yeah, it took me a long while to pump this out because I told myself that I should resist posting Vinesauce Miitopia/Tomodachi Life artworks and whatnot).
I also spent the last 4 days of my holiday just non-stop watching all 57 Fullsauce episodes of Tomodachi Life for the 2nd time. Yep. My life has accumulated to this point. I've also oddly filled up at least 4 pages of my doodle book with Jahns, and I don't think that will ever be stopping soon...
