I won't say the Yoshi (Island) Franchise is dead until we see how Woolly World holds up. I have faith YWW will be on the same level or around the same level as Island.
I have strong faith with Good Feel, they have a good track record, despite what people say about Epic Yarn, its still did get positive reception. Unlike Arzest.
