Happy birthday, Fren! Here are my takes on other Frens from other Nordic countries, including a Maxwell Fren. The designs are based on the Lantern Corps Frens I made here: https://booru.vineshroom.net/post/view/105575search=user_id%3D21299
Vann - Denmark Fren. Name is a combination of Danish "ven" and Swedish "vän" simply meaning "friend".
Fien - Norwegian Fren. He's a FIEND.
Fren - the titular archetype; Swedish.
Girlfren - our lovable Fren, genderflipped but still Swedish.
Féla - Icelandic Fren. Derived from "félagi", meaning "buddy" or "pal". Definitely not inspired by Anthro.
Kamu - Finnish Fren. "Kamu" was a 4-letter translation of "pal".
Notes - I designed Fren's beard to look like how Zeurel draws it, with an "M" shape. I decided to do like Wario and "flip" the shape of Fien's beard upside down, and make it slightly more reddish. I wanted to give each Fren a unique hair/beard style and color.
To my knowledge (which is just Google Translate), "sahti" on Kamu's bottle means "booze".
