Hey, everyone! This is the completed version of the art I submitted for the VIH art contest I'm sorry if I didn't capture anyone with enough... pizzazz? There are a lot of areas where Inwish I couldve3 done more for everyonen but couldn't due to time constraints (I didn't realize there was an art contest until about 6 days ago. Whoops. :X). Some faces git a bit misshapen in between lineart and coloring the piece, but I hope you all like this picture! If possible, I'd love for this version to replace the one I submitted.
Hey again, eveyone! I just wanted to post a few more details on my drawing now that I'm no longer half-asleep.
Hootey - thank you so much for all that you do! I decided to make you a priest/heals-type character. Most of the classes, colors, and outfits pretty much created themselves. This charity wouldn't be possible without you. C:
Norix Wolfe - I had a lot of fun drawing your character! Werewolves are a favorite of mine. Your character is a warrior/DPS.
Vinny - I really loved doing the gradient on your hat! Your character is a mage.
Vidyabum - Because the avatar I referenced was cartoony, I decided to keep with that theme. You're a mushroom-wearing warlock!
Direboar/dorb - Your character, is... well, a dire boar! I felt like adding an eyepatch added a certain flare to your design. You're a pink and purple tank with attitude!
Imakuni - Now, on your face is where I really feel I messed up, as I ended up misaligning the glasses and a lot of thw good details got messed up during the coloring process. I'm so sorry about that!
I made your character a rogue/thief, and if you look carefully, you can see I put a spoon on your belt because I know you have fibromyalgia (the Spoon Theory reference). That's also why I incorporated a little purple into your outfit, as well (fibromyalgia ribbon).
Joel - I wanted to incorporate the bright you like into your outfit, but I just kept picturing a Sweden-themed ensemble when drawing you. So, I decided to put green into the Vargshroom on the belt, and make the (really snusk) guitar bright green. I was really pleased with your design!
Your character is a bard. A bard who tanks. Anyone who says bards can't tank clearly hasn't heard Scythelord.
Zott - You are a skull. A grumpy, but magical, skull! Someone thought it would be a great to remove your head from your body. When you're piece again, you're definitely going to turn the prankster into a newt.
Hopefully, I can manage to draw individual portraits of everyone and give you a better picture!
Rev - I wanted to incorporate both a deep red as well as teal or green into your outfit, but had to be careful with the design so it didn't make you disappear or interrupt the "flow" of the picture, since I knew Imakuni was going to have red in her outfit. Even though your outfit is relatively simple, I am the most prous of how it came out, especially with the clothing folds in the teal tunic.
Your character is a steampunk-ish alchemist, and Desert Pogona is your dragon friend.
Desert Pogona - Your design is much smaller than most people in here, but I wanted to still give you pizzazz, as I appreciate every streamer who has participated in Variety is Hope this year. Seeing as I love dragons, I decided make you one! You are Rev's dragon friend who helps immolate foes in battle!
Fred - I wanted to do human you, but incorporate your blue dragon avatar into the mix. I took inspiration from one of your pictures on Twitter where you're holding your puppy (who, instead, is now Limes in this picture). Gel pen and metallic pencils really helped breathe some life into your armor.
You are a hunter, and Limes is your adorable battle pet!
Limes - I didn't have any plans to change your design from your seal avatar, as I thought it was just perfect the way it is, especially since I drew Fred holding you.
You are Fred's battle pet, crushing deadly foes with your cuteness!
Gearomatic - I couldn't find any good reference pictures for human you, so I went with an elemental spirit based on your icon. I was inspired by another art piece someone did to make that choice. I plan on giving you a better individual portrait soon!
