Howdy Joel, hope you're having a good whatever time of day it is! You may be wondering why VargFren appears to have a prolapsed bellybutton - that is in fact a marzipan rose, the traditional topping for a Swedish princess cake, it also happens to be what VargFren is made out of (not sure where this fits with the VargFren lore/canon.) There's some additional VargFren cake pictures included on the source if you're interested :)

This was my first time making princess cake, let alone the pastry cream and marzipan I needed for it too; it was a lot of fun and a great challenge. Wanted to say thanks for the cooking suggestion, to make a red curry soup from your creme fraiche sauce recipe - I'm excited to make it! Should I go more of a Thai curry route or an Indian curry route you think?

@Yinyang2020 everything is mainly vanilla-flavored, the pastry cream and whipped cream are entirely, the cake part, in addition to vanilla, has a splash of rosewater; the jam is a mix of pomegranate, cherry, and blueberry, and the marzipan has almond extract and rosewater - it was really good, I even had it for breakfast
