Welp, I have finally finished this project* (*I may work on this more, idk yet)
This took 25 days of work, or about 200 hours. I originally started this project as a viku BRB, but because this project took so long and other reasons I ended up just doing this. I learned to sculpt in Blender and then did the retopology, then textured this in Substance Painter, and finally put everything together back in Blender for rendering (with a ton of adjustments to just about everything along the way). I also quickly rigged this with a Blender addon so I could pose the face and make expressions.
I started this project as a means to grow my experience with modeling and texturing, and boy did this help.
And now, for a few questions I'm expecting lmao:
"Why?" Because it was fun, genuinely. I really like modeling (and would like to get a job lol), and recently I've managed to get out of a multi-month depression. I've been watching Vinny for 2+ years now and idk, just felt like making something fun I guess.
"What are you gonna do with this?" Honestly no clue at the current moment, but I would like to use this model for other renders/fanart, and maybe a BRB or two. I've considered putting this in VRChat and whatnot, but I'd have to convert the hair so that this model is usable, basically, in other stuff.
"Can I download this/use this myself?" I'll let Vinny decide this one lmao, since people are... you know. As of right now, it's not available to download anywhere.
