based off the japanese box-art of the first dragon quest game and somewhat of a callback to my crude drawing that I first uploaded to the booru for the 2016 charity event.
I give thanks to the vinesauce crew for all the awesome work done for this year's event <3.

Anyway, my knee-jerk reaction as a really-not-anime-fan and especially-not-DBZ-fan was, "Well do you like Vegeta? Because that's all he draws." But then I thought back to how iconic all the monster art for the DQ games were and how much I loved drawing the monsters from the first game as a child (when it was Dragon Warrior). Yeah, his human characters are basically all still Vegeta, but all his non-human artwork is pretty great, I think. I really like how a lot of the call-backs fit the various Vinesauce personas.
