Okay...so this was awful. I have now found the limit to which I am able to work with my laptop. I'm really at a loss for words. This was basically my entire day. I wanted to revise my previous brb to make it more like how I imagined it. Things started off OK, but the cloud generator killed it. You will notice that the image is fuzzier than my previous submissions. I had to do some crazy optimizations to get this to render, including drastically reducing the sampling. To render this using my previous settings would have taken 50-100 hours. The image you see currently took 3 hours to render. I don't know what made the smoke look like that. I didn't even notice the weird geometry until 45 minutes into my first render. The preview render would have taken 30 minutes to complete, so it would have taken at least 10 to be able to see what was happening. I debated whether or not I should even upload this, but I spent so much time on it, and it is marginally better than the previous version. I'm going to need to take a break before I start working on my next project. The good news is that if I ever get a more powerful computer and want to improve these, I'll have the blender files so I won't have to remodel everything from scratch.
