This was made with a piece of plywood I found behind my house.
This has 5 layers of paint and I used a handsaw (dremel attachment) to care out the design and bevel the edges. I used thumbtacks to act as rivets. I used an oak wood finish on the back and used a door handle as a shield grip.
All I have to do now is varnish the paint to protect it, and put on a forearm strap so it can hook up to the sword sheathe, so I can wear it on my back.
